#1. I live in Southern Ohio and I have ALL my life. I take alot of pride in the area I'm from, from reading books about it, to educating others. Civic Pride FTW! BTW.. Dayton Ohi

#2. In RL.. I only really wear ONE pair of shoes. I have large, sensitive feet so I can't wear alot of the fun dressy shoes. I live out my shoe fantasy in SL. WOOT!

#3. I have 4 cats. Duncan, my big black baby, Moron, who is large and orange and deserves his name, Cringer, my skinny runty Battle Cat, and Freya, my widdle girl. All rescues. In fact, I really HATE purebreed animals. I hate seeing people pay $1500 for an overly inbred dog because they think it's CUTE while millions of perfectly adorable, loving healthy dogs and cats are put to sleep every year.

#4. Neural Blankes I met on SL early last year. Since then, we've become good friends in SL and even better friends in RL. Neural even came over when my father died, just to comfort me.

#5. Every year on the day after Thanksgiving, while everyone else is out shopping their asses off, my friends and I are cooking what I like to call, Friendsgiving. It started out with me cooking a whole Thanksgiving feast.. but now that it's 30+ people.. I let them help..

#6. I smoke. I've smoked for 11 years and my mother just NOW found out. It's actually a nice weight off my chest that she knows. She doesn't approve.. but.. she's dealing..

#7. I struggle. I know.. all people struggle. But I struggle with my wieght (too much), my health (I take Paxil), my demons (not gonna say). I think people who do struggle with things should let others know.. and people... remember.. everyone is having a hard time... so be a little nicer, MMk?

#8. I cry at the drop of a hat over my store in SL. I checked my update group and saw how many people were in it.. and GUSH, I'm crying. When I got nominated for a SL Fashion Blogger's Choice Award.. i criiiiiied like a little anime girl. When people drop notecards on me, or IM me that they LOVE my stuff.. I tear up. I'm so used to being torn down for everything I try to do.. that all this.. acceptance.. is hard to take. Being added to the FashionPlanet feed, and actually being TAGGED by someone.. is just..god.. I dunno what to say.. too bad you can't get tear marks on a blog...

Winter Trees

Remember how everyone loved my Fall tree? Well.. Winter is here so I decided I needed a WINTER tree!

Last Call Dazzle

There are SO many stockings to choose from in this store, that I just took pics of the varieties. Besides, I modeled for some of the pics, so I know how good these are.

Neural Blankes owns (N) and makes all sorts of great clothing. But today, I go for the stockings. The Colors! OH MY GOD. There are soo many colors to choose from, and sooo many different styles. Sheer with back seams, Lace Roses, Lace topped, Large Fishnet with the BEST sideseams! They line up!







Look at the work on the ankle. Anyone can tell you that SL ankles are a BIIIITCH to texture. I love the way the line is still straight all the way down the leg, even to the heel. FAB.

+F+ and Nekow's Keys

I've been wanting to do a Loli post on my blog. I know there are ALOT of cute little loli's around. Most of them hang out at NCI Kuula and are good friends with me. They are a fun bunch and AWFUL stylish. One of the Lolis is Elda. My very good friend who helped me get the great land my store is on in Redux NW. It was her RL B-day, so I decided I should blog something Elda would wear.

We went back to the Doll Mall that we visited before.. Victorianna's Boutique: Royal Doll Mall In Hogback. I saw these cute loli dresses on the wall and BOOM. A Blog post was born.

+F+ has a great sense of Loli style and some great Loli prices!

I'm on the left, in a cool Loli shape that I got from NCI's freebie wall. I'm wearing +F+ Pinkand Black. For a COOL $200L I got top, pants, gloves, socks and a flexi prim skirt. LOVE IT! Love the bell sleeves and the striped socks. These might get worn at other times too. They are no transfer, but copy.

Elda, dear Elda, is on the right, wearing +F+ Marron Cream. It also was $200L and included jacket, shirt, skirt, socks, undies,prim ribbon, prim sleeves and prim skirt. Wow! It was transfer, no copy. Love the split skirt and all the little prim details.

Now you MAY have noticed I'm wearing a wind up doll key. My little Neko Loli friend Nekow42 makes these wonderful keys and sells them above my store. I think they are totally adorable. Here are the instructions that pop up when you wear them.

Say /8 interval to set the interval in seconds. For example, /8 300 would make it wind down every 300 seconds. This will take effect after then next key-click

It's really cute how it will say in open chat, SoanSo has wound down and you slump over til someone clicks your key and "winds" you up. The keys range from $10 to $60L. Not bad! they are no transfer so IM Nekow42 Zarf if you want to gift them here is a SLurl to her spot in my store

Sculptie Tree with Falling Leaves

So everyone and their brother has been asking about this tree I made on a whim. Yes.. sculptie trunk with falling particle leaves. Oh and leaves scattered around the base of the tree. They are copy/mod/no trans so you can put out as many as you want on your land. 10 prims a piece. yay! For sale in the front yard of my store for only $100L. I love them. They make great pics, when Blogger works with me and lets me upload them......

SSUS Update 9/24

Yeah.. so.. We had a cold spell here in RL and I was wanting some slippers. Now it's back up into the 90s! But my want for slippers goes on..

Made these adorable slippers. If you can watch the eyes, they googly around when you walk. I have not yet found a way to watch my feet when I walk. Just have faith that they do. And for $25L, does it matter anyways?

WOO! you people ROCK! We had soo many people at the party.. it lasted til the wee hours of the SL morning! Thanks to both our great DJs.. Right Paean and my FAV DJ evar DJ Windfall Autumn Heyes! I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. Leave me a comment on what your favorite part was. I know I totally enjoyed shooting the cannons! Alot of people raved about the booty drops. Ok. so my friend Elda took me to this mall. It's a doll Mall! But that's not the point. THE point IS! I found a vendor of these AWESOME Victorian style dresses. I buy. How could I not.. they were only $150L!! I go to the main store.. and I drag my Partner-in-Crime, Squee with me. WE SQUEAL with delight as all the beautiful dresses rez. The vendors confuse us. Touching them only makes the color of the dress change. How much ARE these fab dresses? Eventually I actually get CLOSE to one of the vendors and notice they WHISPER the name of the item and price.

$150L??!! $65L??!! My AV's ear must be malfunctioning! These are totally amazing dresses! Let me show you..

1st up is Me 'N' Squee!

I'm in white, called Romance Time Pearl. This is one of the more expensive dresses there.. at a WHOPPING!! BANK BREAKING! $200L. That's right! $200L and its not JUST a dress. Oh no! Lemme list all the items it came with: two bracelets, a pair of earrings, a necklace AND the entire dress. I didn't get a close up of the jewelry, but even it had FINE prim work. Just Stunning! I love the mix of static and flexi pieces in the skirt. Keeps the legs covered. Came in a bunch of colors, but damn.. I wanted WHITE.All the pieces are Mod AND Copy.

Squee is wearing Conveyance Time 2 Green. Wait for it.. $100L!!! My god.. it's So So So... CUTE. It's so Mary Poppinsque! The Texture work is beautifully realistic. And again with the static and flexi prims in the skirt. This outfit ALSO came in SOOO many colors. I can't believe the designer has that much time! Woof!


Next we have.. Squee and Me!


Squee is wearing this HOT little number, showing that this designer isn't just about Victorian Elegance and all.. NO.. they do HOT MAMAs too! And with a price that ANYONE can afford! Only $35L for Kithra in Black. I saw a few other dark colors in the Kithra outfit. The shading matched the fit of the outfit like only a few people can. Not too much, not too little. There are subtle details like princess seams in the top and texture to the pants. $35L PEOPLE!

I'm grooving my Donna Reed style in Henrietta in Pink! I love retro goodness, heck.. I used to watch Dobie Gilas when I was a teen. Ask your mom.. she might know. I HAD to have this, if it's just to vacuum the carpet and wait for my husband to come home. Poofy Poofy Dots! Do you even WANNA know? $65L... $65L to make your Donna Reed dreams come true. Get it in Pink, or Green or go for the old TV look and get Black! Are you seeing the hand drawn goodness? The sweet little buttons down the front? Run! or.. TP as it is! GO I shall give you Slurl!

There is also some NICE swimwear, and tops. Just make sure you get CLOSE to the vendors to hear them.

So I was wandering around the sim my store is on. Redux NW. Great place, Class 5, totally cool owners. I wanted to check out the other builds, see if I was outclassed... I was.. but that's not the point of this blog.

I happened to find this cute little clothing store. Bluebell Productions, right down the street from me. Literally! We have streets on Redux! I love it.

Sooo.. being a Fashion Blogger, I decided I would check out these items, ya know.. in the name of good fashion blogging.. not just because I like clothing. Oh no.. this is for SCIENCE!

First up we have..

The Naula outfit. $250L is a little steep, but I love this shirt. I love the prim arms. Yay for Floofy! The pattern is very subtly pinkish coral, meaning, if you put on pink shoes.. it's pink! if you put on coral shoe... it's coral! It comes on one layer, so you don't accidently take off your bra in the middle of a PG area! I hate that..

Next we have...


The Jewell outfit in Chocolate. $200L Came in about 5 colors. I had to be all Autumny and got the chocolate. For $200L you get a CUTE halter on the jacket layer and TWO pairs of dressy pants! YAY for options! Seam work is good here. The pants are light on details, but sometimes I don't mind not having a shiny butt. These are stylish pants, classic. I wish they were MOD though so I could wear the Tessa boots I bought here too. I'm wearing the bottom of the boots and they work GREAT under the pants. These are $350L and came in 7 colors. No sexy walk in these, thank you! I really like these boots. I'm jealous of Bluebell's boot making skills! They are nicely shaped, rounded toe. No modding needed which is good, because they too aren't mod.

Next we have a TwoFer!

This is Squee and Me in the Freebies! Wee! There are two giftbags in Bluebell, both filled with GREAT goodies! I looove a good freebie bag. Squee on the left is wearing the Dressy Pants and the Trudy shirt in White. The belt is drawn on and I love the little subtle pocket detailing. The pants have an actual fabricy TEXTURE to them. Might be linen. The Trudy shirt is just fun, yet classy. Sexy slits that show some skin, without showing alot of SKIN.
I'm wearing the Trudy pants in black with the Classy Halter top on the jacket layer and hanging on my wrist is a Ruby Bracelet, also found in the gift bags! Oh! and those Tessa boots again. I might have glued them on. :}

Baaack.. again?

It's true sometimes. When it rains, it pours.
So I decide to start blogging again, make a bunch of new shoes. I'm ready to GO.. and tragedy strikes.
My real life father passed away suddenly on August 2nd. BAM! Just like that. Now, lemme give you a little slice of my Real Life.
I make intercoms for grocery stores and warehouses. It's a family company. I go to work every weekday with my mother, my father and my sister. So to lose the tech guy, the designer of all our products, is a MAJOR loss. We are trying to pick up the pieces as best we can. But he never wrote a damn thing down! Not to mention, I lost my FATHER. My Daddy! As you get older, you start to lose the people you looked up to. In recent years, I've lost my Grandma to breast cancer, my Grandfather to suicide and now my father to a massive heart attack.
I know you all are wondering how I'm doing. I know this because everyone asks me! I'm doing what I can. I'm surviving one day at a time. Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for asking how I'm doing. Thank you for caring.
If you can do one thing for me. Just one little thing. Do the one thing I can't do. Give your father a call. No matter if you don't have a good relationship with him or not. Just a little call. What could it hurt?
